Ruhengeri Hospital sincerely recognizes MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership (MCGL)'s outstanding contributions to improve care in this hospital. 

This has been highlighted by the DG of the Hospital, Dr. MUHIRE Philbert, today, 13th May, 2026, during a meeting held at the hospital with MCGL Project Staff, a team led by Mrs. Angelique UWINEZA, alongside Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Representatives and Mentor Coordinators, sharing key achievements, after one year of implementation.

Among them: Training healthcare providers on lifesaving maternal and newborn protocols, strengthening mentorship, tele-mentoring, and equipping facilities with essential tools.

A joint sustainability plan to save lives for years to come is still needed.
