“It is truly a miracle, I have no words! When I look at my children, my twin baby girls, whom I gave birth to in this hospital on 26 September 2022, each weighing 900 grams, now one of them (INEZA Promesse) weighs 1 kg and 695 grams, and the other (INEZA Parfaite) weighs 1 kg and 755 grams. I am now going home, and I can only ask God to bless you!”

Dr. CHINONSO Emmanuel OKOR

“I am a doctor from Nigeria working with Médecins Sans Frontières here in Rwanda, and I am currently living in Musanze District. I arrived here while my wife was pregnant with twins, and when the time for delivery came, I came to this hospital where they assisted me, and the babies were safely delivered. However, it was necessary for them to be taken to the Neonatal Unit (Neo) for care. After a short time, we were discharged, and now the children and their mother are doing well. My wife is studying at INES-Ruhengeri.”

NTAMARAMIRO Belancille

“I didn’t bring anything else that brought me here this morning. I left home at 4:00 a.m. and came on foot just to thank you. I have nothing else with me except my language. You welcomed me very well. I have a very serious stomach problem; waste comes out through my mouth instead of where it is supposed to come out. Some members of my family have started complaining about me because of this illness and because they think I am making them spend money due to frequent hospital visits. I sincerely thank my husband as well. Now I have found some relief, and I have gone back home.”

RAMULI Janvier

“We sincerely thank Ruhengeri Hospital as one of the institutions operating in Musanze District that participates in the commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda and also stands in solidarity with the survivors.”

UMURAZA Kevine

“With one day left before I celebrate my birthday, on this Wednesday evening, 10 May 2023, as someone who was once admitted and treated at Ruhengeri Hospital, I decided to come and visit the patients and bring them support. This was an initiative I organized as an expression of gratitude to God who healed me and continues to protect me, and also to thank this hospital that helped me recover. I would especially like to thank the nurse who works here named MBISHIBISHI Therese, who never stopped supporting me during that time.”

MUGWANEZA Ashley Angel Liam

“Dad, I’m not going anywhere. First, show me the doctor who treated me days ago and relieved the pain I came here with. I was almost going crazy. Let me go, I will run to look for him. I will go everywhere in this hospital, and if you see him, please give him money I know very well that you have it.”

TWAMBAZEMARIYA Jeannette

“Good evening! I thank you and appreciate you for the good work you did for my mother by restoring her sight. You are like God’s angels. Truly, servants of God, may God continue to be with you, increase your knowledge, make you grow, and may the whole world come to know you. I wish you to always witness miracles of God’s goodness. We have nothing to repay you with, but thank you very much. May God grant you long life because you are very useful. May God fight those who fight against you, pursue those who pursue you, and destroy what destroys you. I wish you God’s blessings. Amen. Have a nice day. My name is TWAMBAZEMARIYA Jeannette, and my mother is TWIZERIMANA Fortunee, who is the one whose sight you restored. Thank you.”
